BTS TICKET HELPER

Helping ARMYs sell/trade tickets and expose scammers since 2018!

If you have a problem/concern and would like to talk to us, do send us a message on our social media platforms below. For faster response, kindly DM us on Twitter.

SELLING TICKETS?

Things to take note:

  • We encourage sellers to sell their tickets at the original price (ticket price + ticket fees + insurance fees if applicable).

  • HOWEVER: Those who bought at original price MUST sell at original price. We won't QRT if you're selling it more than the original price and/or accepting bids/offers for your tickets.

  • We don't do anything with your confirmation email and video proof. It's just for us to verify that you have the tickets you're intending to sell. We delete all emails after that.

If you'd like us to share your ticket sale post:

  • Forward your ticket confirmation email to [email protected] with your username (eg. @BTSTICKETBOT) as the subject.

  • If your tickets are attached together with your ticket confirmation email, you may remove the attachment before forwarding the email.

  • DM us a screen recording or video of your ticket(s).

How to send video proof of your ticket(s):

  • PHYSICAL TICKET: Take a video of the ticket while writing your username and current time with your timezone abbreviation (eg. 5PM GMT+1) on a piece of paper beside it.

  • MOBILE TICKET: Take a screen recording video of the ticket starting from your X/Bluesky account to your ticket from the ticketing platform (eg. Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, Thaiticketmajor, etc.) and then back to your X/Bluesky account.

  • Due to COVID-19, recent concert tickets are now mobile tickets unless stated otherwise by the event organiser/ticketing platform.

  • If your country doesn't allow you to download the ticketing app (if applicable), you may take a screen recording of the ticket(s) from the website.

  • If your phone doesn't have any built-in screen recording function, you may download screen recording apps from your App Store/Play Store.

Ticket sale post guide:

  • Make a post on your profile and send it to us with info of your ticket + price so we can Quote Retweet (QRT).

  • We will QRT your ticket sale post with our hashtag (#875ticketsale) after we receive the proofs.

  • NOTE: Those who are searching for tickets can search for posts using the hashtag.

TRADING TICKETS?

  • Tweet out your trading post (WTT), use our hashtag (#875tickettrade) and/or tag us (@875tickets).

  • NOTE: It is now optional to tag us in your tweet as you're able to use the hashtag.

  • If you wish to sell the tickets in the same post (WTT/WTS), follow the ticket selling rules. We won't RT if you don't follow the rules for ticket selling for these posts.

EXPOSING SCAMMERS?

Two (2) ways on how you can expose scammer(s)

  • PUBLICLY: Post up a tweet/thread on your own profile with proofs, use our hashtag (#875ticketscam) and/or tag us (@875tickets).

  • ANONYMOUSLY: DM us proofs of the scammer(s) scamming/trying to scam. We'll make a tweet/thread on our own profile with our hashtag (#875ticketscam).

  • NOTE: If you are posting it publicly on your own profile, please make sure to cover up any private/sensitive information before posting. For those exposing anonymously, we will cover up all private/sensitive information from our end before posting.

Is the person you're dealing with a scammer or someone we exposed before?

  • SCAMMER/SCALPER DATABASE: Google Sheet - PTD LA & Google Sheet - PTD LV

  • Check out the spreadsheet above for a list of scammers and scammers that we have exposed before. (Special thanks to Christina Dirkes for the compilation based on our postings for PTD LA!)

  • You can also search on Twitter using our hashtag (#875ticketscam).

  • NOTE: If it's someone we exposed before, do let us know so we can post an update on them.

GENTLE REMINDERS

  • We don't RT any WTB & LF posts, only WTT & WTS posts. We also don't reply to DMs asking if we have tickets for certain dates or asking us to help find tickets. This is to be fair for everyone looking for tickets.

  • All ticket listings posted on our X/Twitter and Bluesky are posts that we know of - aka sellers who followed our instructions in our 'selling' tab. However, please exercise caution when dealing with the sellers as well.

  • Please be patient if we don't respond to your DMs or RT your posts fast. There is only one (1) person handling the account and there may be a huge time difference (KST vs. anywhere) and working full-time.

DEFINITION & EXAMPLES OF TERMS

  • SCALPING = Selling higher than what you originally paid for and getting profit.

  • If you bought your tickets from resellers/reselling sites and the prices are not at original price, you are allowed to sell it at the price you bought for or lower. If you bought it at original price but is selling it higher, it is considered scalping.

  • Example: Bought from StubHub at USD500 but selling at USD500/USD300 = OK

  • Example: Bought from Ticketmaster at USD300 but selling at USD500 = SCALPING

  • BIDDING = Accepting offers from people and selling them to the highest bidder.

  • Example: Bought from Ticketmaster at USD300 but accepting offers. Highest offer is USD1000 and selling it to the highest bidder at USD1000 = BIDDING

  • QRT = Retweet with comment
